| . We are glad you stopped by! Our mission is to provide a safe and sober living environment for men in recovery . Albert House believes in a higher power; a higher power, as we may understand him, which will restore us to sanity concerning taking the first drink. We feel that our whole lives depend on not taking that first drink; the drink that leads to despair. The drink that we always took. Through the healing power of the Twelve Steps,and the love of our peers,we can agree with the life changing success of the men of Albert House. By helping to postpone the next drink in a positive atmosphere of recovery,we can learn to stand on our own two feet and look the world in the eye. We can live productive lives without the abuse of alcohol tearing us down. We know that miracles can occur here. We see them taking place in each other and we know that they are real.
